1. Target the right market. This is what many people fail to do when they start their internet business. Market research is one of the most important parts of your business, without a profitable crowd, it will be hard for you to generate money. Therefore, look for a profitable market where people in the market are willing to spend. You need to do ‘due diligence’. You need to research the niche you want to be in. Where on the Net do your potential customers hang out? When you fish, you go where the fish are, right? Well, you need to go where the customers are. What is your product? Where do people go to look for information about this product or service? Sending out a message to a general mailing list will get you nowhere fast. You have to target your audience to succeed.
